Kelli-Ann Caplin, Vice President of the Board

Kelli-Ann Caplin, Vice President of the Board, was born in New York and relocated to Philadelphia in 1984 where she earned a Bachelor of the Arts in Criminal Justice from Temple University. She went on to receive a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and has worked in the field all of her adult life.

Mrs. Caplin started her career in the Philadelphia Probation Department and moved to Bucks County Juvenile Court as a Probation Officer working with underprivileged youth. After a short sabbatical to raise her own children, Mrs. Caplin returned to her field working with the young people in her community. She has been involved in a number of fundraising efforts, which have included organizing 10k races for the Bucks County Juvenile Victims Witness Program and assisting in raising over $120,000.00 for Newtown Friends School computer program.

Kelli’s work with adjudicated youth has given extensive experience understanding the impact of poverty, lack of educational resources and access to quality healthcare on the young people. That experience has reinforced her stand for the positive transformation of at risk youth through Caplin Family Charities. Kelli has been married to Dr. Lawrence Caplin for seventeen years and they have four children.
